I have been trying to get to Bagni di Lucca ever since we first looked at Pieve di Cerreto. A couple of times we’ve driven through the town. In May, we actually parked and walked around, and tried to walk up to the Terme. Today, with Jenn’s get-up-and-go, we finally made it. And I discovered we had almost made it in May, we were only about 100 ft away when we turned back from exhaustion! And, Bella and I discovered the much faster foot path that cuts straight up the mountain, direct to the spa. Much quieter and nicer than Montecatini.
